At nearly 50, I have learned something about myself

I was contentedly picking Sugar Snap Peas the other day,  just thinking thoughts, when I realized something peculiar about myself.

p-e-c-u-l-i-a-r

I like to spell.  I do it in my head without thinking about it, an unconscious thing.

u-n-c-o-n-s-c-i-o-u-s

So know this, my friends, if you use multi-syllable words around me in conversation, I am spelling it in my head.

s-y-l-l-a-b-l-e

  2. Okley dokley. Bear in mind that I won't spell just any ole big word. "conversation" is bigger with more syllables, but it just didn't flow as nicely as s-y-l-l-a-b-l-e,

  3. That is funny! Don't worry we all have little quirks.

I tend to think about things too deeply and too often, it gets mentally exhausting, I have to distract myself with other things.

  4. Oh, yes, Shanny. I hear you.
I have a tendency to overthink EVERYTHING and end up on tangents that have nothing to do with one another.
